Weekly Writing Prompt

Canary the bird, Laptop and Blanket  were very fast friends living in a  green jungle. They studied in the same class. Though they were very naughty and garrulous but very helpful to everyone. One fine morning, all of them went for fishing to a nearby small river. There they enjoyed swimming and had fish in lunch.

Suddenly, they experienced thunderstorm with heavy rain and then whole valley slept in the lap of darkness.  All the three friends were astonished and struck dumb.  They took shelter in a nearby cave which looked very horrible and aghast.

Canary heard a voice as if someone were crying for help. He told his friends, Laptop and Blanket, about it. They came out from the cave for help. The river was gushing due to heavy rain and a Lamb was afloating in the river.  Somehow they managed to rescue the Lamb and took him into the cave.

Lamb was very frightened, thirsty and hungry. Canary (bird) brought him some fruits to eat.  Since he was shivering with cold, Blanket covered him to protect from cold and offered him some water to drink. But the lamb did not stop crying. All the three friends made all efforts to make him laugh but all in vain.

Then an idea struck to Laptop. He had stored some documentary films in his memory and showed the Lamb a documentary film which was a Twenty-Twenty cricket match between the Rabbits and the Elephants.
On seeing this, the Lamb had a peal of laughter on his face and all the three friends heaved a sigh of relief.

Next morning, when the weather became clear, they handed over the Lamb to his parents who thanked the three friends for their timely help. Canary, Laptop and Blanket were honoured with bravery award for their bravery.

Hi friends! Here again I am with a new idea whether to chase success OR let the success chase you. Never did I read in any book about this. Have you read? Please let me know. Rarely this concept might have become a hot topic among your friends in your entire academic and professional career. Have you ever thought of chasing or running after the success, an unseen riddle yet to be solved?

Today we will try a bit to solve this unseen riddle and discuss some of the majaor facts which help you reach your targeted goals thus making some room for success to welcome you. My main focus here will be how success chases you during your entire journey towards accomplishment of your desired results. Readers have a voracious appetite for juicy contents but my sole intention is not to serve new recipe with a different taste but to share with you how my soul defines theme of a success,

Success Chases Only Successful People

Some of you might have been making tremendous efforts in this direction. Do you really think success is running faster than you? Certainly not. Success is always waiting for you to reach there and grab it.

Desire for success should be greater than fear of failure:

In this article we will discuss how success is roaming around you and you have to keep your eyes opened to grab the opportunity to achieve it. You may dream a beautiful success in your life but simultaneously there is always a fear of failure also. Therefore, your desire for success needs to be greater than your fear of failure.

Team Work Performs Tremendously Under Dynamic Leadership:

Do you know that coming together is a beginning, keeping together is a progress and working together is a success. Organizational goals are achieved when there is a team work led by a leader from the front. Successful people always focus on their goals and not on the success because when the desired goals are achieved, success is bound to be there. The success script of MICROSOFT AND FACEBOOk have been written by a successful team work under the dynamic leadership of BILL GATES AN  D MARK ZUCKERNB. Because they knew that once their self-designed goals are achieved, success will be theirs and hence laid a strong foundation for next team and new leadership.

How Ignorance and Confidence test your patience:

Ignorance and confidence are two things you require to taste success. Ignorance does not mean lack of knowledge but ignorance of the fact that how long is the journey. And then comes your confidence to travel this long journey. Though the journey is long to be travelled but as soon as your journey is complete, success is just waiting for you. Ignorance and confidence boost you to keep moving forward towards your desination as success is curious to know about your mysterious journey.

Be a successful human being rather than becoming a successful person:

Are all the rich men successful people? Some of you may think “YES”. But this is always not true. May be they must have achieved everything they desired but still are not a successful person. Do you know why? Because their main motive was to be a rich person rather than be a good human being, And many of them might have ended their journey at that level.

I personally feel that you should never try to be a successful person, but rather try to be a successful human being. Then only you may sustain there for a long time. Because, we all are born as human being and will also die one day as human being only.

Hard Work, Dedication and Determination-Basic Tools of Success:

What are other tools to dream a success? Hard work, dedication and determination are other basic tools to achieve success. You must develop the habit of hard work, dedication for your passion and determination to reach your goals. These tools will help you reach your destination rather chasing it.

Happiness and Enthusiasm Strengthen Your Appetite For Success:

Happiness is the key to success, success is not the key to happiness. Happiness must always exist on your way to success. Success is an endless process which goes from failure to failure. It is an enthusiasm and happiness which takes failure to success at one point of time. You always need to create a happy and enthusiastic environment around you which will further strengthen your appetite for positive attitude and right approach.

Are You Ending Your Journey Chasing The Success: If yes, please change the trend.

Desire and motivation are another tools which play a very significant role in your life to accomplish your dream goals. You must have some ardent desire for your goals and motivation assist you fulfill those goals. Before enjoying the taste of fruits of your hard work, you need to follow certain rules of game which will enanble you end your journey with success rather end your journey chasing the success. The more you run for it, the more it out of your range, the less you are worried about it, the more it is curious about you and the more you talk of it the less it knows about your dream.

Lay A Strong Foundation With Bricks Thrown By Others:

A successful person lays a strong foundation with the bricks which have been thrown on him by others. He has to cross many hurdles and impediments on his success journey which ultimately make him a strong and iron man always moving forward to focus on his aim.

The strong foundation laid by him may be a road map for his next generation crying not for the success but focusing on achieving the desired goals.

How High You Bounce When You Hit The Bottom?

Success is how high you bounce when you hit the bottom which measures your journey from failure to success. The higher you bounce, the higher is the success. The difference between success and failure is neither the lack of strength nor the lack of knowledge but rather lack of will. Your strength and knowledge are the helping instruments on your way to success but it is only your strong will which helps you reach your destination.

Dream High – Achieve High

Higher is the dream; higher is the achievement. You must have dreams in your life. Otherwise you may be hired to dream for someone else. In my opinion, successful people are those who dream for themselves and not dream for others. But now the question arises how your dreams may come true.

Design Your Life Plan:

Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events and small minds discuss people. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Live as if you were to die tomorrow and learn as if you were to live forever. Once you learn the rules of the game; you learn how to play better than others. This is you who has to design a life plan for you. Lest you should fall into someone’s plan that might have designed for your failure. Right approach, right mental attitude and right plan are the supporting elements of a success person. No one can teach you the key to success but many can teach you the key to failure.

Warren Buffet, one of the most successful persons, rightly says “Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago”.

It takes many years to build an empire and only few minutes to ruin it. Success is afraid of failure and failure is afraid of winning

Martin Luther King has said “If you can not fly then run, if you can not run then walk, if you can not walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward”.

Dare To Face Risk And Success Will Be Yours

Successful people always dare to face risks while unsuccessful people dare not to face it. In this context, Mark Zuckerberg, owner of FACEBOOK, rightly says “The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that is changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risk”. Obviously if you want to taste success, you first must learn to take risk. Majority of the people give ideas, some of them discuss them and only very few of them execute them and write a success stor

Successful people write a successful script after a successful journey.  They know how to sustain it when on the peak and how to win it again when at the bottom. Understanding the gravity of the situation, they always focus on their self-designed goals and on the contrary success focuses on them.  Therefore, there is a belief that success is born for the people who dream it and failure is born for those who are afraid of dreaming success.

Friends did you lilke this article? Please let me know because your suggestion and love will inspifre me to share more ideas with you, Again next time with some new idea. BI BI AND TAKE CARE

Hi friends! As promised, here again i  am with a new story.  This is a real life based story of a lioness mother who had three sons(Lambs) to take care of. She lived with her three children in a hilly village of Uttarakhand (INDIA) named KURMAN village, situated in the lap of nature, a charming and scenic place. The snow covered peaks, glittering Ram Ganga river and picturesque hills all added to the tourists attraction. The lust green grassy land and dense green forests made it an ideal place for natural lovers.

The mother never saw the face of school but was very sharp minded and active. She would perform all the daily activities i.e. bringing water from a nearby river, taking the pet animals for grazing in the forest, going to forest for woods to cook food, etc. Her husband, who also never went to the school, was a lowered post employee in government office in New  Delhi ,national capital of INDIA. Since there were no proper educational facilities in the village she sent her two sons to her husbands for good education and next year she also left for Delhi along with her the youngest son.

The father would not take that much care of the children as mother would take. The economic condition of the family was very miserable. Many a time the family would find it very difficult to make both ends meet. The mother was religious and would go to the temple to worship the god for secured and better future of her sons. Though she was illiterate yet she learnt how to teach the lessons of discipline to her children. All the three sons were very disciplined, obedient and loyal to their mother. She was a versatile lady by nature and did not leave any stone unturned in character building of her children. She was a role model for every one. She played a vital role in the success of her children by becoming a caring mother, an ideal teacher, a good friend, a tactful finance manager, an expert motivator and guide.

Inspite of his illiteracy, she knew the tactics of finance management to manage the monthly family budget with a meagre income of her husband. Many times, she would knit the sweaters of her neighbours to arrange school fees and uniforms of her sons. As the time passed, her all the three children got good education from nearby corporation schools. And the ultimate dream of the LIONESS MOTHER came true when her all the sons got government jobs. The eldest son became a senior teacher, younger son now a manager in a bank and the youngest one an engineer.

And came time when the two children got married and today they are happy with their families but the youngest one did not get married. The sons were enjoying happy life with their wives and children but became less attentive to the mother. The kind of regards and respect was not given what she actually deserved. The sons now had forgotten the great sacrifices made by the mother. Dignity of mother did not find any place with her sons’s families. She was not given proper attention when she was heading towards old age. The main bone of contention of this was the difference of opinions. Huge gap of understanding between two generations. How and why does it happen to a mother when she grows old? But surprisingly this is a bitter truth as experienced by me, an author of this story.

One day, his eldest son and his wife decided to send her to a old age home at Vrindavan to get rid of her for ever. Now they started scolding her over minor issues. As a result, she became mentally restless and disturbed. One fine morning, she left the home for some unknown place. Thereafter, all the three sons were worried about their mother. Actually they were worried for one reason only that how they would face their society and relatives and not about their missing mother. They rushed to the nearby police station to register missing report of the mother. Suddenly, one evening the missing mother came back after seven days. She looked very tired and hungry. It seemed as if she had lost something very close to her.

After this incident, the younger son took her with him but fate of mother ditched her again. Wife of his son did not like her and ultimately the circumstances compelled her to take shelter in the house of her youngest son who had once kicked her out of his house in the past. How the destiny takes a turn in the life of a person. The mother had no other option but to take shelter in the house of his youngest son from where she was once kicked out. Presently she stays with him. Here also she has been facing many problems from his son’s side. Never any conversation takes place between them. The mother has got many old age health problem and depends on medicines. Now she is above eighty years and counting her days. She is a mother who has been discarded by his three sons and their wives.

So friends, this is a short story based on the real life of a LIONESS mother and his three LAMB sons. Through this story message goes that a mother may be a sure guarantee for the happy life and successful careers of her children but the children may not be any guarantee for the peaceful life of a mother when she grows old, Friends, I have met this mother to know her painful story. After meeting the mother, I am getting scared of my old age. Though this is a real life story but hope my readers and friends will not make any room nor create any space for such awful and painful stories.

Dear readers please let me know how did you like this story and what impact it has in your life. Always give to your old aged parents what they deserve. Always remain indebted to them for their invaluable sacrifices. Take care and bi bi and gud nite. It is 12 pm and moving out of “friendshippark”. See you again next time with a new theme and new idea. Sometime in future, I may write a book or a novel on real life story of this LIKONESS mother. Wish till then the LIONESS MOTHER survives,

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Enveloped.” hi friends, I am kishan negi. We are  enveloped by nature from four directions, In this envelop nature  pour on us its love and affection as our mother does it. We all survive in he envelop created by nature and are bound to follow its rules framed for us.  For me the whole universe is a envelop where flora-fauna and living creatures live together.

In this envelop, nature has blessed us all with its wonderful gifts such as plants and trees, water and air, flora-fauna, mountains with glaciers, fruits and flowers all at free of cost for our survival.  Whenever we go against its rules, we are punished by nature by natural calamities i.e. earthquakes, flood, tempest, tsunami, draught, etc. We should be eco-friendly and maintain ecological balance. We should grow more trees rather than making nuclear and atom bombs which will destroy one day existence of human beings  on this earth,  I am a great lover of nature and its free gifts. Since we are enveloped by nature from all corners, we should never think of coming out of this envelop which may reason our survival.  Hi friends, we all should be thankful to the nature for its beautiful gifts and we all should love the nature always.  Now I am closing the daily post and going for evening walk in the park where again I will meet nature in many forms.  bi bi and take care. See u again in the next post with a new theme and idea. Follow me in blog “friendshippark”

Hence we should be grateful to the nature for its free

Hi friends, today it rained in Delhi and NCR. Summer suddenly switched over to pleasant climate of Nainital and London streets.  Friends, this is my ever first blog article.  As blog name says,.this is a park where friends from different parts meet each other and share their heart feelings.

My first blog is dedicated to our loving and caring mother (MOTHER INDIA). Mother is the creator of this universe and takes cares of her children as nature takes care of us all.  She can not be defined in a line or a book since her role is not confined to any boundary. To remember her, every year we celebrate mother’s day. The origin of mother day goes back to the era of ancient Greek and Romans.  But its roots may also be traced in other parts of the world.

Friends, today every year we celebrate mother’s day to honour our mother. Don’t you think it is more commercialized today by big corporate houses to promote their products on this day.   Are we really honest to remember her once in a year? Does she really deserves this much only from her children.  How can we forget that she always remains great by virtue of having given birth, by raising her children, by supplying her OVUM for fertilization.  Hence concept of motherhood takes place.

Mother is the first school of a child where he learns primary lessons of life.. It is the mother who cultivates the good habits (SANSKAR) in him. She is a teacher who teaches lessons of life, she is a guru who provides right path, she is a motivator who motivates to focus on goals and achieve it,  she is a friend who is always with us when in trouble. She plays a very vital role in the character building of a child.

Now the burning question arises whether we are really concerned enough about her when she grows old. My answer is certainly ” NO”.I know one of my friends who are three brothers and none of them is happily ready to take care of his mother when she is above 80 years old.  She cooks for herself and performs all her day-to-day work herself and also not in good health.  What might be the reasons?  Is it generation gap? May be but not always. Why mothers, at old age, are left to their fate by their children? My question is very bitter but needs a true answer.

My personal experience has taught me that a mother can take care of one dozen children but one dozen children together can not take care of one old age mother. Many old age mothers are compelled to spend their remaining lives either in old age homes or In Vridha Ashrams. We all are brought up in the shade of her AANCHAL but she does not find any such shade with her children.  Are we justifying ourselves? Are we doing any justice to our mothers? Are we not indebted to the great sacrifices made by her,

  • We need to think it over and find out a space for our mother and give to her what she really deserves, Friends forget not that one day we will also board the same bus which our mother is boarding today. Caring for old age mother is a pride and not a curse. Mother needs respect and honour. This is our prime duty and her basic rights. Forget not “as wesow so shall  we reap”.  Right place for her is with her family – notvridha ashram and old age homes. You may or may not agree to this article but truth always prevails. Friends now it is12.40 pm and moving out from “FRIENDSHIPPARK”. See you all again here next time  with new issue.  Now I conclude with “maa tujhe salaam- maa tujhe pranam”,Take care of your mother and good night.
